In our detox special vinyasa yoga workshop, learn more about what detoxification actually is and how your amazing body keeps you safe from things that we are exposed to in our environment and through the food & drink we consume. We’ll explore the processes of our Liver, Gallbladder, Lungs & Kidneys through both the facts of western science as well as the mystic energy systems of Traditional Chinese Medicine and put this to practical use on the yoga mat.
Fill up your toolbox with specific techniques that help support these important organs including a variety of pranayama (breathing techniques) to light the internal fires and burn away impurities as well as cooling the system when it feels overwhelmed. This is a vinyasa masterclass focussed around supporting detoxification through twists, hip openers & side stretches with opportunity to go into arm balances and finishing off with restorative meditative poses to calm the body & mind. By the end, you will feel more balanced, re-energised, lighter and armed with the information to add to your regular practice and continue the work!

Jen is co-owner of Oceanflow Yoga Studio. She has been practicing Yoga since 2001 where it quickly became a fierce passion she wished to explore deeper. Her travels took her to studios all over the world where a variety of teachers and styles in London, New York and San Francisco inspired her to become a teacher and share all she’d learned over nearly two decades of practicing regularly.
In 2012 Jen qualified as a 200hr (Yoga Alliance) Seasonal Yoga Teacher and opened Oceanflow Yoga studio with Stretch in Newquay in 2014! In Jen’s classes, the season and the energy of the body are taken into account in order to help people to bring balance back to their body, mind and spirit through all branches of their lives.
In 2019 Jen completed her 300hr advanced teacher training with Laughing Lotus centre in New York & India to add a deeper understanding to the yoga practice and share with all, the amazing benefits that yoga has to offer!
