The first half of this gentle & balanced class will stretch out and move your body, opening hips & shoulders so that sitting becomes more comfortable and posture improves. In the second part, we’ll be exploring different styles of meditation to help settle our minds and diminish the stress & anxiety that can build up in our lives. Very Beginner Friendly! Options and guidance given for how to sit comfortably to be able to make the most of your practice.
Loving Kindness 60mins
Starting on our back, we will loosen off tightness in our back, hips & hamstrings before coming up to twist out the spine & shoulders. The meditations will revolve around compassion – firstly for the directions of our thoughts using breath cycle counts to stay aware, followed by a guided Loving Kindness meditation for heart/mind congruency.
