The first half of this gentle & balanced class will stretch out and move your body, opening hips & shoulders so that sitting becomes more comfortable and posture improves. In the second part, we’ll be exploring different styles of meditation to help settle our minds and diminish the stress & anxiety that can build up in our lives. Very Beginner Friendly! Options and guidance given for how to sit comfortably to be able to make the most of your practice.
Stretch And Breathe 60mins
Starting with some gentle flowing movements to loosen up the shoulders & chest to help deepen the breath. Followed by releasing stretches for the hips and legs to prepare for seated meditation postures. The class will lead firstly into a soothing breath & mantra-focussed meditation on to a connecting sound-based listening practice.
